Database Driven Websites


Firstly - we will explain what a database driven website is: It is a website that has all of its content stored within a database. This means the pages of your site will be dynamically created, and you will be able to control the content of your site at your leisure.

We have found that sometimes, it is cheaper to opt for the database driven option as it can cut down development time for the creation of your website as the majority of pages are created on the server dynamically (meaning every single page does not have to be built from scratch)

You would have access to a secure area of your website (which would be password protected) in which you simply log in, and you will be presented with a menu containing your pages, you simply click the page you want to edit, type-away then click submit, this will update your website instantly. This means you are in full control of the site and you will not have to return to us time after time and have to pay for amends to your website.

If you wish to have products on your website, the database driven option is a must, so you will be able to edit your products and prices for the life of the website.

The Database option also has many more advantages to just a static HTML website, you can store all of your enquiries online should you wish, creating an online archive of your customers and you would be able to add additional services/products to your website so it can grow with your business.
